J Bar’s sanitary restroom rental process is simple, but that doesn’t mean that you will not have a question or two along the way. We have compiled a list of some questions for your reference regarding sanitary restroom rental and other bits and pieces of the process.

How can I benefit from a J Bar Sanitary Restroom?

Our sanitary restrooms arrive at your event or job site immaculately clean and sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectant and remain that way with weekly (or more frequently if you choose) services performed by our portable sanitary service technicians.

Our standard restrooms come equipped with solar-powered ventilation fans and grated floors for better air circulation. Our Elite restrooms have complete hand wash stations mounted to the inside of the unit for an added source of sanitation.

You and your staff will greatly benefit the health and well-being of having a clean, comfortable spot to use the restroom while on the job.

How many people are suggested per sanitary restroom?

The general rule of thumb is one restroom for every 10 people on the job site. Some city ordinances have stricter rules regarding portable restrooms on job sites and at events, so be sure and check with the city or county you are building in for those guidelines.

J Bar is happy to deliver however many sanitary restrooms we need to ensure you are following local laws while keeping you and your staff safe and healthy.

How long is the rental period?

Our standard restrooms for construction sites are on 28-day billing cycles. Our special event restrooms are billed by the weekend – whatever you call for; we will determine which route to go to ensure you are billed correctly.

What type of sanitary restrooms do you have?

J Bar carries a variety of sanitary restrooms. We have standard sanitary restrooms for construction sites, lighted restrooms for special events, ADA-accessible restrooms, Elite restrooms with hand wash stations mounted to the inside, and luxury restroom trailers that can be rented for either special events or long-term construction sites! For more information on all the rentals we have available, visit our sanitary restrooms page.

Do you provide locks for your restrooms?

J Bar does not provide locks for sanitary restrooms. If you need a lock for your restroom, you must provide it. Please make sure it is a combination lock and that you share the code with J Bar customer service representatives so they can relay the code to the drivers. We want to ensure we can always access and service your unit.

Where will you place my sanitary restroom?

Our drivers are required to place units no further than 15 feet from an improved path of travel. Our trucks are incredibly heavy, and if there are significant rains before your service day, they may cause damage to your grounds. But, if you have specific placement instructions for our driver, we want to be sure we do everything we can to accommodate. Don’t hesitate to ask!

Can I move the restroom myself?

For liability reasons, we ask that you refrain from moving the sanitary restroom to a different location yourself. (Moving it yourself = damaged restrooms = extra charges!) We are happy to move a unit if needed – just give our office a call, and a CSR will schedule a relocation work order for you. *note – if your unit is moved further than our required distance from an improved path of travel, this may result in missed services if your unit ends up being blocked by mud.

When can you deliver my sanitary restroom?

As we have over 2,000 services a week, our route managers and dispatch have specific days set for deliveries and services. However, if you need a restroom sooner than the scheduled route day, we are always happy to make sure we can get it to your site as quickly as possible. Just be sure to ask the customer service representative taking your order.

What if I live/work in a gated community?

If a gate code is required for entry to your home or construction site, please provide that information upon account setup. Your information is safe with us – we attach the code to your account in our system, and the only people able to access it are your sales representatives and the drivers performing your services.

We want to be sure we can access your restroom and maintain its service to continue providing you with a clean and safe environment for using the restroom.

Do I have to have an exact address for delivery?

If you need help pinpointing exactly where your site will be, your CSR will gladly help figure it out! We understand that many of our sites are brand new construction and may not have exact addresses. That is completely fine! However, your sales representative will most likely ask for coordinates to your site so we can ensure the precise location is pinned in our system.

How can I offer feedback about your sanitary restrooms and services?

There are many ways to provide feedback about your rental experience. Calling us at 830-598-JBAR or emailing us at info@gojbar.com is the quickest way to receive a response from us, but we also provide AirVote review stickers on the sanitary restroom doors, so you can give feedback the moment you use one of our restrooms. Scan the vote that corresponds with how you feel about your restroom experience, and submit a comment anonymously if needed! Once the vote is received, it is taken to management and handled accordingly.

When can I call for a restroom rental?

Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. You are always welcome to give us a call when you are ready to schedule your delivery or have a question about your services. We can be reached at 830-598-JBAR

My name is Savanna Gregg, and I have been blessed with the task of writing blog posts for J Bar! I’ve grown my love for writing since I was a kid, inspired by my grandpa and great-grandma, and encouraged by my family to follow this passion wherever it leads me. I found a love for journalism in high school and participated in UIL competitions throughout that time. I was able to expand that experience into a career, working for the Burnet Bulletin Newspaper for just over two years before finding a new opportunity here at J Bar. I’ve always loved spreading the news to my community through social media, and am so glad to have been given the opportunity to continue that while providing services for our customers at the same time. I hope you enjoy learning more about our company!
